Although you will have to drag yourself all the way to West Seattle, Coleman Pool in Lincoln Park is the only salt water pool in the city. It also has what may be the best view of any public pool in the entire world.

Go to Magnuson Park! It's out off sandpoint, but there's a hidden rope swing in the trees and it's a good place for a picnic by the water as well!

If you want to swim in the sound, go hit up Alki. Sandy beach and happy hours all along the shoreline.

Do any of these places support nude swimming? Are any clothing optional beaches or top-free swimming facilities?

Madison Park tends to be the cleanest/ most easily accessible, but Madrona is also pretty sweet when there's not strange green/ yellow shit washing up on the shore

You can swim in Greenlake for free, but if that doesn't sound appealing, the city has a bunch of community pools.

I'm fond of Seward Park. Nice views of Rainier, and it is often less crowded than, say, Madison Park.

You can swim everywhere! Seattle is surrounded by water! My first choice is Green Lake for sure, big clean fresh water lake with diving boards and ducks. Lake Washington is even bigger and cleaner, but it's colder. Sure is good swimming though. Check out Denny Blaine Park for example.

You can even swim in the Ship Canal! Jump off the rope swing near the dinosaurs in Fremont! Super fun! Whiners who never lived in a truly dirty city may complain that any or all of this water is "polluted," but don't believe a word of it. These bodies of water are close to pristine and make for awesome swimming.
