staffI forget if you've told me this at Slog Happy: Have you read Stanley Elkin? All your adjectives apply to him. He practically invented those adjectives. Try The Franchiser.
If you have read Elkin, you should read Charles Portis. He's only got five books or so, but they're all brilliant.
Otherwise, find The Tunnel by William Gass and settle in for another Infinite Jest-length read. So, so smart and good and hateful.
