Sally's Beauty Supply usually has a pretty wide variety of wigs for decent prices. There's one on 3rd, between Pike and Pine. l think it's next to the Radio Shack.

For costumes, go to Display & Costume, 11201 Roosevelt (near Northgate).
For a mystical freakshow time-travel experience, visit The Hair Fair Wig Shop on Pike St. near the market. Spectacularly rude and expensive, it's like the last living relic of the weird old Seattle downtown.
