The impossible beauty of the place. Water, mountains and cleverly disguised sprawl.

The small town culture in a city big enough to be a true city. The fact that a giant swath of it is closed down for the funeral of a single police officer.

The complete integration of the huge LGBT community. We are everywhere, doing everything.

There are lots of awesome people. And they create the awesome liberal culture of our amazing city. Part of this culture is the "big city with a small city feel". Lots of trees, plants, and parks (ahem, Emerald City) help preserve this small city feel. And the surrounding area (Puget Sound, mountains) are also fucking pretty.

Oh, and does the word "microbrewery" mean anything to you?

    "God," our city fucking RULES.
