Anyone else disappointed by Built to Spill last Friday?I've always loved BtS, and still do, but what was with them on Friday? I admit I went in a really bad mood which may have clouded my judgment, but they seemed REALLY flat - no energy - totally uninterested. I need a sanity check, here. Anyone else agree? Disagree? Thanks.

I didn't go, but I've seen them several times. I've been to a couple of lower-energy shows, and I think each time was related to Doug's voice being strained or blown out. I actually went to one where Brett Netson did all the vocals, and Doug just played guitar and looked pissed off the entire time.
So, not sure if that's the case here. I will say, even on a shitty day, they are much better than most bands.
