I asked a question I think is embarrasing to exist. Can I delete it?

Yeah, don't try to find it. Is there a way to get rid of it?

Once you've revealed yourself to be a Doofus, it's actually very liberating.

    Oh, you're the NSA guy.

The internet is forever. You should probably just re-register with a different handle.

You obviously haven't reached your maximal internet embarrassment quota. Trust me, I'm an expert at embarrassing myself.

The best way is to immediately post a ton of thoughtful non-embarrassing posts so people will think you're a goofball who slipped up rather than a random drive-by douchebag!

l see no reason why this question was embarrassing in the first place. What's wrong with asking for fun without commitment, relationships, and/or babies?

You asked it for a reason, and you're probably not the only one wondering. There are plenty of embarrassing things out there on the internets. This really isn't one of them.

Oh, I'll bet I can figure out which one it was...
It's not that hard to find, you know...
And now that you've called it to our attention, we'll be sure to go revisit it.

(Yes, I think a discussion with the moderator could help you out, but we've all been there. Asked a question and 16 minutes later, thought better of it, or wished we had rephrased it differently...better...less embarassingly... etc.)

    Relax.
We won't hold it against you.

by try to find it do you mean click on the link to all the questions you've asked?

No you can't delete your question once it's been asked. This is the internet, nothing can be deleted.
