Reputation

Questionland Seattle's reputation system is designed to encourage high quality questions and answers. A person's reputation is based on the following 4 items:

  • Favorite Answers: Whenever someone asks a question they can choose their favorite answer by clicking the  . When your answer is chosen as a favorite it will really boost your reputation.
  • Featured Questions and Answers: When you ask great questions and post great answers there's a good chance they'll be featured by the Questionland Seattle moderator. Featured posts appear at the top of the Questionland Seattle home page and will improve your reputation considerably.
  • Question and Answer Ratings: If the community likes your questions and answers they'll give you a  . If they don't they'll give you a  . Good ratings will improve your reputation.

Badges

Badges are assigned by Questionland Seattle moderators to identify people with specific roles in the community. Below is a description of each badge:

  • moderator
    This badge identifies people who manage content. They feature great questions and answers and remove anything inappropriate.
  • staff
    This badge identifies people who work for Questionland Seattle.
  • This badge identifies people who are experts or VIP's in the community.
Questionland Terms of Use
Questionland is intended as a tool for people who have questions, answers, and things to say. We may remove questions, answers, and comments that are hateful, abusive or bigoted, trolling, deceitful, vague, confusing or generally nonsensical, personal attacks, spam, and any other crap that's inappropriate that we haven’t thought of yet. Questionland use is also subject to The Stranger's general Terms of Use.
